I've read all the inliner's info and it makes me want more, like is anyone out there actually producing these heads or are the prints available for some enterprising machinist to build one for themselves. I've tried to get to the Wayne Manufacturing web site but I keep getting a server error. No idea if it's on my end or not as I'm on a work computer. I rarely do anything at home because I live in the sticks and have dial-up.
The inliner pages mention Bob Horner? having the prints and maybe producing them if there was interest. They give an address but from my best guess the pages were written at least a decade ago. That's why I've posted this, there are a ton of folks here with more contacts than I'll ever have and I hope someone might be able to throw me a bone.
Thanks,
mutt

The Wayne head has not been produced in well over 45 years and there weren't that many of them. The Inliners International has a Wayne 12 Port registry in which they keep track of those that are still around. It is highly unlikely that anyone who presently owns one and knows what it is will be looking to get rid of it. About 5 years ago an individual who owns the patterns and the copyright to the original Wayne head was taking deposits to produce a limited number of them again. Long story short; it didn't happen. Those that paid a deposit have been very very slowly getting their money back a little at a time. There was no intention to scam anyone. Businesses being what they are this was one of those things the new manufacturer just never saw coming.

If you happen to find one for sale make sure you are sitting down when the price gets mentioned. They are in the same rareity class as original ARDUN heads for the Ford V8 flatty.

Thanks,
I know IF I could find an original than it'd be through the roof. That's one of the reasons I was looking to see if anyone was doing them today.
It'd be nice if they would release the prints but that's just wishful thinking.
I guess it's back to the bench to see if I can get better flow through my existing head.

There companies making 12 port heads today, such as Sissell Automotive and some others. They are out there but you are looking at some serious coin... around 3-4K for the head alone.

The heads that Mike Kirby at Sissell's are building are for the newer 194 to 292 Chevy six. There has been some talk of another outfit tooling up to do an aluminum head for the same engines. It will not be a cross flow head though. They want it to be able to work without having to one off special intake and exhaust manifolds unique to a crossflow. No exact price has been mentioned but they are hoping to bring it out for about 1500 to 1600, bare machined head. The buyer will have to fit the valves, etc.
